Coast Guard Mutual Assistance is the official relief society for the United States Coast Guard. CGMA amplifies the voices of our Coast Guard community to harness strengths and address needs. We leverage our network to foster a culture of financial security, ensuring no one walks alone. Through proactive collaboration and tailored support, we are the go-to resource that turns today’s financial challenges into tomorrow’s stability.

Since 1924, Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) has served as a trusted and reliable resource for Coast Guard members and their families in times of need.

As the official relief society of the U.S. Coast Guard, we give hope and strength to the entire Coast Guard community by providing disaster and emergency relief, family support, and education assistance.

In 2024, CGMA delivered $8.5 Million in grants and interest-free loans to help 6,000+ Coasties overcome financial hardships spurred by natural disasters, rising costs of living, and educational pursuits.
